When Should I Schedule My Appointment?
We recommend scheduling your appointment 1-2 days before an event. (i.e. Thursday appointment for a Saturday wedding) This allows for the tan to develop fully and for you to have at least one soap shower before getting ready for your event.
Remember to schedule your other spa services at least the day before your Bronzing appointment.(i.e. nails, facials, sugaring/waxing, massage, etc.)

Is spray tanning safe?
Yes! We use the highest quality solutions with natural and organically based ingredients. Being paraben and gluten free, and 100% vegan with a mix of wonderful ingredients such as chamomile, green and white tea extracts, Argan, Jojoba, Kukui oils and more, provides your skin with nourishment, anti-aging and skin- firming benefits all while giving you a natural looking tan!
Can I get a spray tan while pregnant?
As our solutions are organic and naturally based, results only effect the uppermost layer of skin cells and our rooms are well ventilated, tanning while pregnant is typically safe. However, we do highly recommend consulting with your physician before scheduling your appointment.
Do you spray tan people of color?
Yes! We offer tanning to all skin tones and melanin types. People with melanin rich hues love the evenness and glow the tanning results provide.
What is the difference between Traditional solutions and Express Solution?
The main difference is that Traditional solutions must be left on the skin for 8 to 12 hours before rinsing, while Express solutions should be rinsed within 1 to 4 hours depending on desired depth of color.
Full color takes 24 hours to develop regardless of solution.

How should I prepare for my Bronzing session?
- Have your nails, hair and other pampering appointments completed 24 hours PRIOR to your session.
We protect your nails with a barrier to ensure your tan and nails are on point! - 24 hours prior to your session be sure to shower, shave and exfoliate with a mitt or glove. Moisturize heavily this day, more so than you typically do, paying particular attention to the shins, elbows, ankles and wrists.
Please do not use any Dove products before or with a spray tan. - The morning of your appointment, you should take a very quick shower and do a very light exfoliation with the glove or mitt WITH WATER ONLY to make sure you removed all residue of products used the day before. This should be done at least 3 hours prior to your appointment.
- Arrive at the appointment with long loose dark clothing and slip on shoes. No makeup, jewelry or deodorant. The solution requires a minimum of 2 hours on the skin to a maximum of 8 hours (or overnight for convenience sake). Do not sweat or get wet during this time.
(Wearing yoga pants, skinny jeans and tight fitting clothing after your session will reduce tanning results. Plan your post session activities accordingly to avoid sweating, rain drops or factors that could compromise tanning results.) - Always keep long, covering clothing handy in case of rainy weather and a towel to cover your car seat.
What should I wear during my session?
During the appointment, women may leave on or take off as much as their comfort level allows them, however we do require men to wear boxer briefs or boxers. After the appointment, loose and dark colored clothing is highly recommended as tight clothing (i.e. yoga pants, leggings, etc) rub the skin and decrease the intensity and longevity of the tan.
We also recommend Wear & Away clothing which is specially designed to protect your tan and keep it from transferring!

How do I care for my Bronze?
- Moisturize! Use natural lotions (i.e. Shea or Coco butters, Hempz, etc.) to truly nourish your skin and maximize results.
- Avoid hot showers, hot tubs and exfoliating; minimize the time in chlorine and salt water.
- PAT dry.
- Use lotion sunscreens, like Badger, SunBum or Black Girl Sunscreen to protect and moisturize your skin.
- Use a new razor to reduce loss of tan when shaving.
- Wash with gentle, sulfate free soaps to prevent stripping of the color from your skin.
- Use tan extender lotions to replenish color and get the most out of your sunless tan.
- DRINK WATER! This may seem unrelated, but truly getting enough H2O keeps your skin, hair and so much more in great shape- which keeps your sunless results lasting and looking better!
Can I get spa services after getting my tan?
Getting spa services such massages, facials, hair removal, etc. after your tanning session will result in partial or total color loss. We highly recommend doing all other services prior to your Bronzing session, preferably the day before.
Can I still get a UV tan in addition to my spray-on tan?
Yes, just remember that spray tanning DOES NOT provide any sunscreen protection, so you should apply sunscreen accordingly.
Will the tanning solution stain my clothes?
The cosmetic bronzers in some solutions may stain some fabrics (especially nylon, silk, wool and polyester). It easily washes out of cottons. For your convenience and peace of mind, we do offer "clear" solutions that have no cosmetic bronzers.
