We are happy to host the 3rd Annual Big Hat Raffle starting May 1st! We are gaining on our goal of $7600, with currently $5000 raised, for a quality shade system from Hasley Recreation that will reduce not only UV exposure, but also heat levels to the play equipment and surrounding area for kids, parents and guardians. Summer days with 90+ temperatures make finding activities to keep kids moving difficult. So many of our playgrounds are located in direct sunlight, without any protection from harmful UV rays or heat. Our goal is to provide shade systems and other sun safety resources to Lake Mayer Playground and other playgrounds throughout the Savannah area.
